An Ancient Drink With A New Twist

It’s something our ancestors drank, and now it’s coming in many flavors in Fargo.
Mead is made from fermented honey, water and adding yeast. Prairie Rose Meadery owners Bob and Susan Ruud say think they have the craft down, and national judges agree.
Their Ginger Mead won Gold at the Mazer Cup International. This year Susan says they’ve entered six meads into the competition, and are excited for the competition in the middle of March.
