    Founders

Our journey as herbalists has led us to the fascinating alchemy of ancient historical fermentation traditions. It is our passion and intention to both resurrect these traditions, as well as play a role in the preservation of our earth’s most important ally… the honey bee.

Michelle Kyncl is the paperwork queen of Hierophant Meadery. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Herbalist, Licensed Massage Practitioner, and educator specializing in ancient herbal preparations. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Herbal Sciences from Bastyr University.

Jeremy Kyncl is the winemaker/ mazer of Hierophant Meadery. He is an herbalist, Wild-crafter, and Naturalist specializing in plant cultivation and identification, botanical research, alchemical preparations, wild foraging, sustainable harvesting, fermentation, sustainability, and herbal preparations. Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Herbal Sciences from Bastyr University.

    The Meadery

Hierophant Meadery production and tasting room can be found on the Historic Green Bluff farming loop. The Green Bluff Direct Marketing Association is a group of farmers and farm based businesses who create opportunities for agritourism in this Eastern Washington group of estates. Other producers of fine crafted beverages such as Twilight Cidery, Big Barn Brewing, 238 Brewing, and Townshend Winery are neighbors to the meadery.

Our tasting room hours coincide with the growing season on the Bluff. We are open May – October for tasting, or by appointment.

Come see us and taste the loop!
