Wisconsin: Side by Side Honey Varietal & Mead Tasting with Bos Meadery

Friday, April 29, 6-9 pm

To kick off Madison Craft Beer Week, Bos Meadery is releasing a Brandy Barrel-Aged Wisconsin Wildflower Honey Mead in celebration of all things local. It’s a dry, complex mead aged in an Old Sugar Distillery Brandy Barrel for 6 months. It won’t last long!

Saturday, April 30, noon-2 pm

Learn more about aromas and flavors of different varietals of honey in this side by side tasting of honeys and meads. Colleen and Peter from Bos Meadery will lead attendees on a tasting of 5 honeys: Clover, Wisconsin Wildflower, Mad Urban Bees, Cranberry Blossom and Buckwheat and we will also taste 5 meads that are made using each of the varietals. This is a journey that will help attendees appreciate the amazing array of honey flavors and the remarkable and unique ways that each honey shapes the mead that results from it.

Tickets are $25. The event will include a tour of Bos Meadery and a free tasting glass.

Advance tickets strongly recommended, as this event has sold out in the past.
