The sixth annual Orcas Island Cider & Mead Festival, one of the oldest cider and mead festivals in the Great Northwest takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Eastsound Village Green on Orcas Island, Washington. The Festival is located in the middle of town on the Eastsound Village Green on Orcas Island, alongside the Saturday farmers market.
The Festival features an incredible variety of hard cider and mead producers from California to Canada pouring samples as well as selling product for take-home. Live music all day. Food and cider pairings featured at local restaurants during the week. Summer is a fantastic and popular time to visit Orcas Island, so mark your calendar and make your ferry (www.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries/TakeaFerry) and lodging reservations early.
This event is a major fundraiser benefiting the Orcas Island Farm-to-Cafeteria Program.
Tickets are $10 and include admission, tastes and commemorative tasting glass. Pay at event. Adults 21+ only.
