Exploding bottles! I need help!

On January 8,2016 I made a raspberry melomel with a SG of 1.11. By March 15, it had cleared, stopped fermentation, and had a SG of 1.06. I bottled 25bottles and corks inserted. They have been in a cool basement since. Then on August 22nd they started exploding- 5 bottles so far! It is like a sparkling wine now. What should I do, and what is causing this? I have made 4 batches of mead before and never had this problem.
